Anger

Anger, in psychological terms, is a short-lived emotion, not an ongoing sentiment like love and hate. It is regarded as such because it is usually the response to some frustration or attack on self-worth. Anger may be seen as a release of locked responses, healthy in some instances, but also as an expression of thwarted feelings against some person or object, that avoids such deeper, more painful feelings as loss.
