Quietism |

Quietism is the belief that God touches only those people who are totally passive and quiet, who empty their whole personality so that God can (even must) fill them with his spirit. Quietism is an extreme form of Christian mystical theology, but in a more general form it can be found at any period in many religions, for example bhakti, Sufism and yoga. KDS |
